I do bid thee a most humble thank you for accepting my application to join thine glorious ensemble. May your engines run hot (though efficiently, very important to maximize efficiency), your torpedoes loose true, and your logic be thorough!

There will be a reckoning! (Shakes fist at imaginary foul dirges that would assail his beautiful, if rather pathetic, ship).

In lighter parlance, I'd like to introduce myself.
I am a recently graduated registered nurse, hobby computer programmer (C#/C++), and avid gamer based out of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I also narrate a Decipher Star Trek D6-based table-top rpg on occasion, and build foam weapons with which myself and my friends pummel each other (Belegarth, if interested).

Edit: I also want to note, that while I can use Ventrilo, I do not have a mic at present. I cannot say at this juncture when I'll be getting one. Next time I am in STO, I'll hunt down someone to add my character (Eight) to the fleet.

In Engineering we provide end user PC support for the Fleet both with the game and actual hardware/software problems. If you want help finding an inexpensive mic, send me a PM (Post Mail - at the top right hand corner of this website) and I'll try to locate one for you. My company has offices in Calgary, so I might be able to find a local purchase in your area. I've found decent stand-alone mic's in the $10 to $15 dollar range. Let me know and I'll do what I can.
