I'd love to see Congress eat all of their Dogfood, starting with the insider trading laws. Tell a Congressman that they will not receive their pay unless they do something, and they will sit on their hands and do nothing. But, tell them they can't benefit from the information from companies they are in contact with, well - first they will pass a law that says they can do nothing with that information - publically, and then, secretly, the rescind the very same law or pass another law that renders the first useless. This way they can make millions and at the same time not feel bad by breaking any laws.

The Only ethical issue Congressmen have over each other are each other's morality - mainly, extramarital sex. Outside of that, it's all just a money making front and a place for the egocentric to grandstand for attention.

I would be totally happy if they only receive their pay & benefits based on a total federal budget based on previous year revenue collected.

Been watching "Revolution" on the BBC, and keep thinking, yep, most of us would be better off without Washington, D.C. and all it's baggage. I would miss STO, but after a day out in the fields, I would be too tired to play.
