My Nvida 440 GT graphics card took a dump on me 2 weeks ago. I need to save up for a new Video Card since I am reduced to using a Nvida 6800 as my main video card. I am unable to play STO as of now, but will update you when I am able to be back up and running.

The good news is that when you're back up and running it'll be on a new video card. I fried a vid card once, t'was a sad day.

I don't know why a 6800 wouldn't run STO. I know the min specs call for a 7950, but any DirectX 9.0c graphics card should be able to run it.

It does run it, but it looks absolutely like crap. Plus it is just barley playable.
Also i am not sure that it is the video card either. could be the PCI Express 16 slot too. I have tried other cards in that slot with same, if not worse, result. I may have to rebuild my system. If I need to replace my board, why not?
