1. Per the reference, the purpose of this SOG is to publish the official uniform code of the 7th MD and to provide guidance to all Marines of the 7th MD, 7th Fleet on the proper wear of authorized 7th MD uniforms.

2. This SOG supersedes all previous authorization and is to take effect immediately.

3. Marines of the 7th Marine Division of the 7th Fleet are hereby directed to wear the Blue Dress uniform (APPENDIX B) for all official functions of the 7th Fleet.

3a. The MACO BDU (APPENDIX C) is authorized for day to day operations and when 7th Fleet operations are of a combat nature.

3b. The MACO Veteran BDUs will provide each Marine the option to reflect their Veteran status in STO per APPENDIX D and is authorized for wear in lieu of 3a. above.

4. The Lucky 7th Fleet Emblem will be worn proudly on all authorized 7MD uniforms.

5. Revisions / changes to this SOG will be made only upon a change of command of the CG, 7th MD with the exception of APPENDIX D which will be reviewed by the CG as new Veteran rewards are published by Cryptic.

2. There is no variation between the male and female versions of this uniform.

The Commanding General recognizes the pride and dedication that each Marine has shown in the 7th MD and the 7th Fleet. Thus he has has chosen to recognize your continued support of STO and honorable service to the 7th MD and the 7th Fleet.

1. Per the reference. All Marines are hereby authorized to display their Veteran status in STO as part of the MACO uniform.

2. The Veteran MACO BDUs replace the MACO BDUs as each Marine earns the appropriate status in game.

3. Uniform selection and color code are as follows.

1. Per the references, all Marines are directed to wear their corresponding Fleet rank insignia on their MACO and Veteran MACO BDUs as appropriate.

2. If your 7MD character is not high enough to wear the appropriate rank, you are directed to wear the highest rank available to that character until you level up high enough to wear the appropriate rank.
