Preface: The following mission statement was crafted by LCDR Dem Vrox, who did an outstanding job capturing the spirit of Task Force 75. Thank you, LCDR Dem Vrox, for the hard work you put in to this mission statement.


TASK FORCE 75 MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of Task Force 75 falls within the initial building blocks of the Federation. Task Force 75 - in conjunction with the 7th Fleet, the United Federation of Planets and its allies - will boldly go where no one has gone before.

We will explore the farthest reaches of the frontier in search of new life and new civilizations. We will bring with us a message of peace and friendship along the way, and will follow the Prime Directive to the letter as we seek out like-minded souls.

We will find first contact opportunities and notify the 7th’s Ambassador Corps, providing them the protection needed to accomplish their mission.

We will encounter threats along the way and report back locations and unit strengths to the 7MD so that they may accomplish their mission to protect members of the 7th Fleet and Federation citizens.

We will scout new paths to the far reaches of the galaxy allowing for increased scientific discovery and trade to help our Fleet, the member worlds of the Federation, and those allies who fall under the Federation's protective umbrella.

In the tradition of old, we are a modern day Cavalry. Instead of horse and tank, we command mighty starships that take us far from home and into the great unknown. From Waterloo to Gettysburg, Inchon to Iraq, and Betazed to Cardassia, mounted Cavalry has been a guiding influence on exploration, discovery, and peace.

Task Force 75 - in the name of 7th Fleet and the Federation - intend to maintain that tradition.
