I have been following your progress with great pleasure these last few months, be it from afar.

My current duty station is quite demanding and unfortunately I still do not have a firm date for my return to you as your Commanding Officer. Do know that I think of you all every day.

I've been busting the asses of the IT Department here to get more staffing so that I may establish more regular communications for some time. After what seems like an eternity, my pleas have finally been answered. When these personnel get up to speed, I hope to start making preparations to get underway.
