Captains Log: Personal entry: aboard the U.S.S. St Jennifer

yesterday were were attacked by romulans near a class C nebula we were sent to patrol. star fleet recieved reports from a trader that there were romulans preying on cargo vessels in that area.
We were cloaked near the edge fo the nebula when Nonari thought she saw a silouet of a ship tailing us. i thought it might be a sensor glitch caused by the nebula but none the less i put the St. Marie into yellow allert.
i'll never forget the screams after that, the whole bridge seamed to colaps around me, i do'nt know how i survived. K'nora ordered the evacuation of the ship and someone must have draged me onto a pod.
the next thing i remember happening was a hail from my old ship the U.S.S. St. Jennifer......

captains log personal entry: Starbase 01: Earth orbit
today i was called into admiral Quinn's officer were he simply pointed out the window to a ship parked on a docking moar.
i asked him "sir?" all he said was "Its yours you'll recieve orders on the way to shermann's system."
He tapped his combadge and i was onboard the ship being greeted by my first officer. K'nora showed me where my office was, past the two security officers posted at the door.
On the desk was a red pad." it just arived today" K'nora said before walking out onto the bridge.
before entering he said this is as far as i go the officers will be here till you dismiss them.
there was a red pad on the desk which asked for a DNA, and voice sample.
It could only mean one thing, the ship i was on and aperently in command of was being sent into battle on top secret orders. near the neutral zone....

you and your crew will head to shermans system orders are to locate and destroy a group of klingons operatiing in that area.
Its a hard task you will not be alone tho ship identities will obstructed for this mission.
futher details are as follows
Klingon battlegroup consists of 4 carriers and one escort type.
Auto system erase in 30 seconds.

as i leave my office i hear the pad announce contents erased. after which i dismiss the security team. and say
"helm set course for sherman's system keep an eye out for klingons once we enter the sector." i hear a snapped out Aye Sir!
as soon as we went into active scanning for the klingons my science officer noted a blip on his screens we changed course to invistigate.
All we found was a destroyed starfleet Cruiser, no survivors. we resumed patrol around the sector block, focusing near sherman's system.

we got a nother lead near a rogue planet in a system not to far from sherman's, once we arived we found our prey, 4 carriers and 1 escort type vessle, the escort cloaked we didn't see him again.
the carriers raised shileds and headed straight at us hulking slowly towards us. my crew was a bit jittery and i can understand the feeling i broke to the carriers left flank and put the ship to red alert.
just then a group of federation ships warped in and headed straight at the klingons, the outcome was horrible there were so many fighters we didn't stand a chance. they opend fire, we followed suit the feds held for a bit but we were forced to withdraw.
At a safe distance and after i felt safe from the carriers, i sent a message to Admiral Quinn who promptly forwarded my message to franklin drake or at least i think thats his name. seamed like months went by before we got new orders. after not recieving new orders i decided to trakc the carrier group.
with the support of my crew and the not knowing the name of our current ship, we decided to call her the St. Marie.

after tailing the klingons for a month and no word from starfleet. i sent a request for orders.
within the next few hours we were on our way to join up with the -7th- fleet. a month or two after the encounter with the klingons a de-briefing was held over secure subspace, and we were found to have done the right action of tracing the klingons. last we knew they were headed up to romulan teritory.....
