I have been developing a build for the use in space combat that seems to be working. It uses two forward facing torpedo launchers (Quantum but i will be testing photon to see if the increased rate of fire works with the two launchers) and one Dual beam bank, for the aft weapons im using three beam arrays.

Bridge officer skills:
- Science Commander Station: Tractor beam 1, Transfer shields strength 2, Hazard 3, Gravity well 3
- Science Lt. Commander Station: Polarize Hull 1, Science team 2, Tractor beam repulsors 2
-Science Ensign Station (Long Range Retrofit): Jam Targeting sensors 1

- Lieutenant tactical Station: Beam overload 1, Torpedo High Yield 2

- Lieutenant Engineering Station: Emergency Power to Aux 1, Aux power to Structural integrity 1

Reasons for skills:
-Emergency power to aux: I use this to boost the power of the grav well as well as increase the heals done to the hull
-polarize hull: mainly used to negate tractor beams used by borg spheres
-jam target sensors: used to beak tractors used by borg cubes


types of weapons used:
-phasers
-quantum

ship equipment:

- shields Covariant mk XI Cap 2

- Deflector array mk XI (defd)(Spa)

- Engine combat doesnt really mater which one you use

- weapons mentioned earlier

- Eng Consoles: Field generator mk xi, Eps flow Regulator

- science consoles: Halon system (four of them)

- tactical consoles: Phaser relay, Directed energy manifold

I use the Long Range Retrofit mainly for the ablative armor and the turn rate that the ship has.

this build is also the required science build when i do KA groups FYI

weapon types optional, ship type optional but as you can see he has it set up verry nicely.
