Hello fellow fleet members
I was just recruited into the 7th Fleet today, and I thought I would introduce myself. I live in Washington State, and I am 45yrs old. I'm a Merchant Mariner, and I work out at sea for months at a time. Unfortunately I don't get much of a chance to play while I'm on board ship. I have loved Star Trek as far back as I can remember, The first episode to ever air on TV, aired the week I was born. I am very pleased with how STO turned out, though there are a few things with the UI that I wish they would tweak, but I guess you can't have everything. .
You may not see me online for months at a time, but never fear I will be back eventually, and then I will be playing on a daily basis while I'm home on vacation. I look forward to chatting with you all on Ventrilo, I should be connecting to voice sometime tomorrow.
Thanks again for inviting me into the fleet, and I must say, this web site is the best guild/fleet website I have ever seen, I look forward to fighting along side you all in the game!

Welcome, sir. I see the Marines already have their meathooks in you, even though they have one of the largest groups already.

Mr. P'Rett, we may have the largest TF's in the fleet, but we also have the largest inactive reserve as well.

Welcome aboard! We're definitely glad to have you; I think you'll fit right in.
When you are getting ready to go out to sea, please let someone in your chain of command know - or just make a post in your Task Force forums. This way we can place you on reserve, and you won't be held to normal membership requirements to stay a part of the fleet.

This should be correct, taking into account the most recent admin cycle as well as the assignment of Mr. Nekkesa to the 80th.
TF 80 has the largest amount of people total, but it also has more inactive reservists than the rest of the fleet combined. I dont think they are all out there secretly planning to return to the 80th all at the same time; and even if several of them did, TF 80 is nowhere near having the overwhelming numbers advantage over other TF's it had before the restructuring.

I debriefed him on that sir; I also updated the auto response so that it now has the new information.
