Believe it or not - it's been almost 2 years since the Fleet was formed.
Fleet Admiral Fortin's join date is logged as March 25, 2009; followed shortly thereafter in June by Admiral Turner (retired). Admiral's Van Wormer and Yatug joined up on August 24, 2009, and September 1st, 2009, respectively.
It is my pleasure to award the Good Conduct Medal to Fleet Admiral Fortin, Admiral Van Wormer, and Admiral Yatug, for reaching 720 days of honorable and faithful service. Congratulations, gentlemen, and a special thanks for all the outstanding leadership you have provided to the 7th Fleet!
