TNG anyone?

Ok i was just sitting here and read something over about TOS tuesday, and it got me to thinking. Not everyone grew up watching TOS. Some, like myself, grew up watching TNG. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in the idea of running stuff on a to be determined night using a TNG character/dressing up using TNG ship.

Proposed Ship restriction to:
-Galaxy (Capt rank)
-Nebula (Capt rank)
-Olympic (cant remember if it applies)
-Excelsior
-Miranda
-Oberth
-Ambassador (when released)

Well it is interesting to be sure, but you need to figure out a good time to get folks involved in it and remember to not have it on the same days as we have other events. I so no reason this should not get some love. I grew up with both TOS and TNG. Both are fond shows for me. While that is not up to date its close for now and will help trim you ship list down to the ones that count. Next is uniforms, you have TNG, DS9, and Voyager to All good things. Its important you sit down build a list of things you want this event to do..always important to lay a foundation. Then come back here with your list of ideas I am sure you will get a very good response.

To Capt. Scott:
the proposed ships are the ones I think fit accordingly. I did not think that the Intrepid or Defiant should be included due to they were of different shoes, even though they are the same Era.

As for uniforms the regular TNG uniform.

As far as night. I know the restructure list as mon and fri with something now, but seeing as how that is not appearing into affect I was thinking Monday night since it is right there with TOS, or Friday if need be. That way weekends are still open. Name of event: TNG (whatever day)

The problem with the highlighted portion is that your current list of ships then excludes all escort captains. This is particularly true for the Defiant, because that ship can be used at Tiers 4 and 5. Also, as you have already stated, the defiant is a period appropriate ship.

This is just a suggestion, but perhaps you should reconsider the Defiant.

I would be interested in "TNG Era" just not restricting to TNG Specific ships, they pretty much used the same ships from TOS.

So how about ships from TNG - VOY - DS9?

Well alot of ppl use the Intrepid and Defiant at end game already. Im open to it but only capt rank, but the reasoning for allowing some of the TOS ships that are on the list is due to lack of TNG show ships at lower tier
