Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning

I'm glad artist/writer Tim Buckley (Of Ctrl+Alt+Del webcomic fame) often included little gaming news tidbits on his comic's page. If not, I don't know when I would have heard of Reckoning.

The trailer is, of course, pretty impressive. The FAQ has some interesting info on it, of which the following particularly caught my eye:

1) It's a "trans-media" setting; there will be toys (yawn), comic books and other video games placed in this setting. This includes an MOO currently under development
2) R.A. Salvatore and Todd McFarlane are both creative contributors
3) Curt Schilling, baseball pitcher, and, perhaps less-famously, avid MMO player, formed the game production company. I know he's been playing MMOs at least since EverQuest (the first one).

I read CAD every time there is a new comic, and i love how he adds his own tidbits about upcoming games. He promos some games, like Reckoning, that i have never heard of. Plus, its a crazy funny comic.
