March Meeting Report

1. In order to streamline the Command Staff of the fleet the Flag Staff will now consist of only Fleet Admiral, Deputy Commander, and Chief of Staff

2. There are now 6 filled Duty Officer roles to maintain the Fleet. These roles are the back bone of the Fleet. These positions are as followed, and carry the rank of Fleet Captain;

Communications: Shackelford continues to fill this role as before.

Fleet Ops: Huckabee-In charge of Federation Fleet Events and responsible for organizing them with Klingon Ops. Will maintain Fleet Registry and guide new members of the Fleet.

Klingon Ops: Talbot-In charge of maintaining the 7th ITS and running Klingon Fleet events. Will work with Fleet Ops in running and organizing Fleet events. He will also help guide new members.

Public Affairs: Hanson-continue roles that were done by Ambassador role and work as Fleet Recruiter.

Chief Engineer: JT Kerry-continue role as before as Historian. He will be the "Go to guy" for questions about STO play and functions of the game. He will continue to provide Top IT support to the Fleet.

Supply: Hau-He will continue role as the Fleets financial Bank manager.

3. Fleet events for April 2412:
Accolade Hunt: 6-7
Fleet War Games: 13-14
To be determined: 27-28

4. The history of the Civil War was discussed. Research of Pickett's Charge was conducted by Fleet Admiral Fortin.

Sounds great - kind of what I had hoped to do with streamlining. I had faith Flt Captains Talbot and Huckabee were on the same page as me, and I am pleasantly unsurprised they were able to convey what was desired without any micromanagement on my part.

Just want to re-state what Adm Van Wormer said. When loggin into vent be sure to follow 7th Fleet guide lines with proper rank. Be mindful of your current rank(what it is on site). In other words if you get promoted or demoted fix it, which requires paying attention to meeting and admin reports.
