MISSION LOG:

The U.S.S. Concord has finished refitting at Earth Space Dock and has been cleared for departure, en-rout to New Romulus, Tau Dewa Sector with supplies for colonization.

0900 hours: USS Concord departs Earth Space Dock, course laid in for Star Base 24.

0921 Received Signal Contact near Lackey System in the Orion Sector, USS Concord changes course to investigate.

0923 Positive identification of Klingon Vessels in the Orion Sector.
Distress Signal received from Federation Vessel, Vessel Severly Damaged Galaxy Class USS Baffin. USS Baffin reports major damage and that she is dead in the water. USS Concord arrives.

0926 Tactical Officer Reports Klingon Raptor Class Vessel in vicinity of USS Baffin. USS Concord is positioned between USS Baffin and hostile vessel. Klingon Vessel is engaged and destroyed. Engineering and Medical teams transported to USS Baffin with orders to rondevu on New Romulus when their mission is completed. Course laid in for Star Base 24.

0928 Approached Star Base 24 reported and proceeded to Regulus Sector.

0931 Arrived Hana System for Routine Patrol, Contacted by USS Mirek, Cpt Jason Leonard
Orders to secure mining station

0938 engaged outer defenses 1 Raptor and 3 Birds-of-Prey engaged and destroyed.

0940 engaged and destroyed Vor'Cha Class Battle Cruiser. Station Communications jammed by USS Concord. Security troops landed and secured station at 0942.

0946 Report sent to Starfleet Command, CPT Akira Sulu.

0947 Proceeded to Tau Dewa Sector destination New Romulus.

0951 Arrived at New Romulus. Placed USS Concord in standard orbit and beamed down to the planet. Proceeded to Starfleet Headquarters to file official report.

BEGIN LOG:

My temporary assignment to New Romulus is winding down to completion. I can't say that I'll miss the place. While I find it to be a good thing that we are assisting the Romulans with their new home, I just get this feeling that we are somehow being played. After all, how could we ever trust the Romulans? I understand that we have worked together defending the Alpha quadrant and against the Reman threat, but somehow I still don't trust them. While stationed here, I've seen way too many Tal Shiar attacks and I feel that most of the Romulans here would support attacking the Federation once they regain strength.

What puzzles me even more is the presence of the Klingons. The Klingons and Romulans hate each other, yet here they are. I'm glad to see the Klingons though. I breaks my heart to see the Federation and the Empire in conflict. I only hope that we can mend any wounds and our two peoples can be allies once more.

U.S.S. Concord, Commander Baldwin Michal Praji, Commanding.

MISSION LOG:

At 1224 hours the USS Concord received a distress signal from the Federation Science Station in the Tazi System. The USS Concord responded with all haste since we were the closest vessel.

Upon arrival in the Tazi System, we were hailed by the science team stationed there. We received a report of possible hostile Klingon vessels in the area and were asked to secure the system.

The USS Concord began a combat patrol of the nearby asteroid belt consisting of the USS Concord and six Peregrine Class Fighters. Soon after entering the the belt we were engaged by three Klingon Birds-of-Prey. After a short fight, all Klingon vessels were destroyed. We soon encountered more Klingon resistance consisting of six more Birds-of_prey, a Raptor Escort and a Vor'Cha Class Battle Cruiser. We were able top separate the Vor'Cha Cruiser from the other vessels and engaged and destroyed it. Having lost their command vessel, the Klingon forces had a moment of indecision which we used to our advantage. We were able to split up the Klingon fleet and using the USS Concord's superior firepower, we were able to easily defeat the Klingon attack force with minimal damage to any Federation vessels.

We have engaged the Borg!

The U.S.S. Concord has responded to a request from Starfleet Command to proceed with all haste to Breen space. A Borg invasion force has been spotted by a Federation Deep Space Survey Vessel. The Concord will be linking up with a federation task force near Defera and then proceeding to the location of the Borg Fleet.

1145 hours, The USS Concord and the Federation Task Force encounter several Borg Cubes and engage them. I order 2 wings of Peregrine Attack Fighters to launch and engage any Borg Spheres. We engage the cubes concentrating our fire on a single cube. We use a tactic where we are able to separate one cube from the others and then destroy it. This is trick we learned fighting in the Dominion War.

The Cubes prove to be no match for our ships and are quickly destroyed. However, we have lost one of our ships, the USS Raleigh, and several of the Fighters in the battle.



As we breath a sigh of relief, we suddenly pick up a large vessel transwarping into the sector. It is a Borg Unimatrix Vessel! Our quick relief is gone, back to battle stations!



1205 hours, the Federation Task force engages the Unimatrix Vessel. A large number of spheres accompany the vessel, be we make quick work of them. The fleet slugs it out with the Borg. The USS Concord strafes the dorsal hull of the Borg ship and then quickly turns and heads out of range, not before firing several torpedo spreads. I order the Concord to engage using attack pattern Omega II. We come in firing all phasers and torpedoes. There is now a noticeable amount of damage to the Borg. The rest of the fleet follows using various attack patterns. I notice the Borg ship begin to list...it's shields are down!

I order my tactical officer to "Concentrate all fire on their engines!" Photon torpedoes fire in rapid succession, igniting their warp core. With a huge green explosion, the Borg vessel explodes with a blinding flash. We have done it! We have driven back the Borg once again!

ADMINISTRATIVE LOG

Today the USS Concord put into port at Deep Space 9 in the Bajor Sector. The USS Concord is due for some down time after our encounter with the Borg. We have just finished a sweep of this sector and successfully destroyed the remaining Borg vessels. The personnel following actions have been taken:

Specialist Twozbar Puror, Develpment Lab Scientist, Science Division - Ordered at once to report to Bajor for assignment per Starfleet Command.

The Following Personnel were assigned to the USS Concord in Reserve Status:

Ensign Todd, Engineer.

A prisoner exchange has taken place with the Dominion. The following prisoner was transfered from custody in the USS Concord's brig:

Female Vorta Prisoner.

In exchange the following personnel have been released and assigned the the USS Concord:

Ensign Utel Mang, Conn Officer, Tactical Division.

Also, as per Starfleet Command, the USS Concord will be participating in an Officer Exchange Program. The following officer from the Gorn Hegemony has been assigned to the USS Concord:
