I got this in my email. Looks promising, but I'm not much of a "techie."

The high end one is about the same as my Asus ROG laptop, but with a smaller display and at about the same price I paid before the upgrades.

IBM has never been known for gaming rigs, but this one looks interesting. It's about time that they got into the high end gaming market and I have no doubt that the machine will be rock steady given their reputation.

Sir -- IBM sold off their small PC/Laptops division to Lenovo about 10 years ago. However, many of the former IBM'ers (and old friends) moved over to Lenovo, which maintains their US Headquarters in Research Triangle Park, N.C. For the most part, Lenovo has a good reputation for solid business laptops for Exec/Sales folks on the go. I have been very happy with the Lenovo products I have bought over the years. (IBM families still get a employee discount, even buying Lenovo products).

That goes to show you how long I have been out of the IBM market. My last IBM PC was an AT! ;-p

Sir, I was going to post the old Charlie Chaplin IBM ad; but then I remember this blast from the Past.
