Greatings!

 

So, I decided to tool my last torp build (Snake Eye) because it just wasn't cutting the mustard. So far the results are much better, shield penetration/ drain is much higher as well as some of my crits are one hit killers. However, I am still having issues with survive-ability, as well I think I can pump up my base DPS and or crits a bit. With that being said, I could use some help from you more experienced builders. 

Ill attach a few photos for you. Please let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions.

Your build is looking solid! The Warthog has more shields and hull than some of the builds I’ve seen on the Fleet Advanced Escort (T6) .

You had mentioned still having issues with survive-ability. Is that a problem overall or with specific content ie<Borg>?

I am continuing to juggle components / doff powers ect to look for an aha moment. Will to post more later this week.

I'll tell you that my beloved (fleet) Hestia (U.S.S. Ichaival) blows up. It's just what it does. I use temporary hit point traits to keep her hull intact as long as possible, though. The "overshield" can help immensely. What traits (personal, faction, and starship) are you running? What specializations are you using?

Moosevelt, actually the borg is what im strongest against. Long as im not fighting multiples of cubes and spheres on advanced or higher by myself. Its kinetic attacks that do the most damage. For instance on counterpoint when the command ships use tractor beam and torps me. Im also using most of my abilities manually, so if come against another player on core assault and they do massive damage real quick I am not able to react fast enough.

 

I am real happy with this build for the moment. However, I think it can still be improved upon. I just wish I had the money to get some lobi crystal consoles and a elite kelvin torp or two.

 

 

Wil Phoenix, I am running; overwhelming force, the best defense, predictive algorithms, improved pedal to the metal, highly specialized.

However, I just acquired Honored dead starship trait. I am going to try swapping out predictive algorithms or maybe the best defense to see if it helps at all.
