The European Service Ribbon is established for members who serve in the 7th Fleet while residing in Europe. It is not given for any event attendance, but is meant to allow members to easily recognize other players who play in European timezones with a visual ribbon on the namebar.
The Anniversary Ribbon is awarded for attendance to any of the events this month.

Splendid, indeed. I think many of you will be impressed with the quality of the players on this side of the pond.
On a sad note, I will be leaving Ireland for good on Saturday morning and most likely miss the fun that evening. We will be bouncing around from place to place for several months with internet as a unknown quantity. Eventually, if all works out, and the river don't rise, (or is it the dead don't rise?), we will find ourselves living somewhere in/around the Jacksonville, Florida area later this summer. There is a very long "honey-do" list waiting for me back in America. Oh well, extended vacation is almost over; lost, like tears in the rain.

This is outstanding. Hats off to the Command Staff for their consideration and to the versatility of the Fleet as a whole. I wish I could attend more events but I will most definitely try to attend as many as possible this month especially with missing all of the previous Fleet Anniversary events.
See you there,
Cheers!

However, looking at the current polls' results...
Oh, I do hate ground combat in STO! It's not even close to anything real, or realistic. And I also spent millions on upgrading my starship. This would be regrettable if ground fleet actions win. Of course, I'll join in anyway.

I had a great time tonight!
Not only do you (we) constitute a fine and efficient Fleet, but you are also great companions, very nice to talk to. It was a pleasure and honour to fight and learn alongside you.

It was very nice meeting and speaking with you sir I'm glad you had a good time. I also want to thank the other fleet members whom were in attendance to show support to our EU brethren... Sierra Hotel...

or, have shifted from Jameson Whiskey to Jim Beam Bourbon.
