Still available for those in Beta at least - 1,2,or 3 ship packs. Mr Davis Thought sims was best boat - and gee - most expensive alone so just bought 3 pack :)

Big patch yesterday! They added a large laundry list of features and fixes, but the best part is that U.S. Battleships and IJN Carriers are now in game.

They haven't announced a date for Open Beta yet...most likely around the 27th based on what was said at E3. They are implementing a major patch today, as well as wiping the servers in preparation of the OBT.

You can now play the game! They haven't announce OBT yet, but you can currently download the game, create an account, and play. The forums say something about letting more people in to stress test etc....

If you want to get it now do it...well now. They have opened it today to allow more people in to stress test the servers but it will be closing again after they get to a certain number. If you don't get it now, it should be going into OBT very soon...but why wait!

I'm davisjm0311 in game. I know Hau, Ganos, Sapel, Mercer, Kor, Nannoc, and Blake are in as well (might have missed someone). I don't know any of their in game handles off the top of my head though (currently at work).

I'll try to add you Davis tomorrow. I like it, really fun and I always enjoyed Tanks for the jump in, jump out gameplay. But.....I just got Elite Dangerous on my Xbox. I'm totally wrapped in it. Star Citizen guys, might want to check it out on PC. 1:1 scale of galaxy and it offers the freedom of career choice. Basically a lot of what Star Citizen promises....but it's a game that has been made. Haha

Earlier today, my (10-year old) son told me he had a computer game he was interested in. Because of a previous instance where he had purchased a game that his laptop couldn't run, I told him he needed to let me check what sort of specs any future purchase would require. So, I go over to see what game he was interested in...and I see "World of Warships" up there. I told him that his laptop's specs weren't up to it (true story; it has a basic graphics card); I also told him that even if they were, the game community for that game wouldn't be a good place for him to be. I briefly explained that there was a good chance that if he made mistakes that people could be very hostile and unfriendly. It's a shame (on both counts) because he has really gotten into warships lately.
