Nice find P'rett! His voice is kind of hard to listen to for too long for me.
His math in this is sound, but it fails to take anything else into account. While EPS does what he says, most of the common gear pieces currently used allow us to circumvent EPS for stats that give us much higher boosts to our dps. The assimilated module 2 piece is one of the less expensive examples of this. Many of the "sets" that people run also have either EPS or something that makes it "less optimal" to stack EPS instead of some other stat. I'm not able to log into the game at the moment, but I'll list a few examples that I can think of below.
