re: Request for Honorable Discharge

Hi guys!
I haven't been on as much as I used to. I just got really burned out with the game myself.
I came on some leftover birthday cash and got a PS4 and started playing be be-JEEBUS out of it. (By the way, Arkham Knight, get it!) And have some other games to break in still.
Plus, today, literally 30 minutes ago in fact, I just got a new IT job. So, unfortunately, with all that going on, I'm going to have to bow out of STO at least for now.
Thanks guys for the fun! I never knew destroying the Crystalline Entity was so much fun to do it when Picard couldn't. That plus going on those Borg missions. Those were good times! But I'm sure I'll come back online again. I'm just not able to keep up with everything at the current moment.
Also, my new PC build is almost complete. I'm just shy my RAM and CPU but that's definitely going to change very soon.

Hi Mav,
I can put you on Reserve Status if you like. Then, all you have to do is stay in touch once every 3 months to remain in the Fleet. Are you sure you want to be discharged, or should I put you in Reserve? If I discharge you and you change your mind and you come back in a year or two, you'll lose your Fleet seniority and you'll have to start at the Fleet rank of Ensign again. Let me know what your final decision is,
Sincerely,
VADM Kor, CoS, 7th Fleet

Actually, I think that would be better. I may come back on sooner or later myself I just don't know how long I'll be off. My main intention is to wait at least until I complete the PC build before coming back on STO. And if reserve is the better option, then I'll go for it. Please place me on reserve.

Remember this, in the first Gulf war, they recalled an 80 yr. old Admiral. I was told over and over when I was in, an NCO can retire but an Officer is for life. So, FCPT Shackelford is right, request denied, you're stuck with us Dude!

lol Thanks guys!
I'll be sure to come back even stronger once the new build is complete.
Thankfully, I started a new IT job and all I need is the RAM and the CPU and that's before I upgrade the GPU so I definitely can be back pretty fast.
