quick camera change commands

this post has been around for a while, but with the january screenshot competition going, thought i would let u guys know, if you didn't all ready (i did not). these commands have also made the game look SOOO much cooler too.

i like /setregionfov space 35

and /setregionfov ground 75

i also find /setregionfov sectorspace 75 to help with the tour of the galaxy

and /renderscale 2 (only if u have super computer)

 

there are lot more ways to customize the look out there..unfortunatly, sweefFX(a program ive been using on games for a loong time does not currently work with sto).

if anyone knows a program like sweetFX, or something to bump the graphics for super computers, out there for STO, please let me know..i need better graphics@!!!##@@! (before you ask all the stuff you can change in options is maxed out, and yes, my computer can support anything)

One thing you could check out, if you have an AMD GPU, is that with the new Crimson driver there's a 4k graphics scaling feature.  I'm not entirely sure how this works, but it looks like what they are saying is that if your monitor supports 4k graphics, and you are running a game in 1080 [HD], then this feature will upgrade the image to 4k resolution and extrapolate whatever's missing in the original image to make it look a little better.

Sounds to me like that DVD player I had that would upgrade images to 1080 on my HDTV.  It definitely gave a slight improvement in the image at the time.
