so in your opinion will the tholian tarantula be "better" than the annorax? just curious, i have a few keys left and dont really see anything in the new lockbox i want. of course the grand prize tholian should never be a reason to "waste" keys,but if i have a chance of that or the annorax, i would go with the older box.

the new box traits dont seem very good(except space invasive programming which would be good for a disable build) . the 2nd prize mesh weaver ( a sci escort) doesnt appeal to me either. the mods on the new agony weapons wont replace anything im using either, nor will the mods on the kits. 

the agony phasers are just like the one we got from the stf awhile back(which most players just threw in the bank), so the hold/disable hardly ever work, also, the weapon packs do have a chance, im sure very small, to get a 360 degree beam array, or wide arc cannon variant..im sure those will be the cash cows out of the box IF it can be slotted with crafted and ancient and kcb. no dev confirmation yet...time for 4 aft omni beams!

i can say i DO like the costume packs tho ;0

the only cool thing is the t6 paradox ship, and that is lobi. 

one thing i cant find info is, on the tarantula, it comes with a Thermionic Torpedo Launcher

no info if this can be slotted on ANY ship. they have stated its not built in like wing-launchers or something, but that it will take a fore/aft slot.

very underwhelmed with the new box all together ;(

 I've always seen tholian ships as great sci tanking ships but beyond that I can't really say I'm too crazy about them.

I have the agony phaser on my first officer its a nice boff weapon if you can get it to mk14

The costume packs don't do it for me lol its like MU number one: no sleeves ever ....even if its winter.

Let's not forget the paradox is also a reward too. I'm itching to get my hands on it!

Wasn't very impressed over all. Only thing that got my attention was the paradox and its t6 trait which basicly floods your immediate forward path with grav wells as you move.

the paradox is NOT a reward from the lockbox, it is  a new lobi ship only

that is why exchange prices arent sky high on them, i really like the paradox
