Please stand at the ready. We are due to arrive and undergo final docking lock within a few minutes. As soon as it is possible I will arrive to 'interview' you. For the mean time I expect you to be honest and forthright with Commander Sims, he has a few 'standard' questions for you.

Please 'interrogate' Mr. Mercer untill I arrive to take over for you. If at all possible please do not wreck his psyche. He may have the qualities we are looking for within 'SAT 7'.

Thank you for your help with ensign Mercer. I will complete the interview in a little bit. I agree with the color choice, Mr Mercer if you have not already done so, I will take some coffee please, black...it will be a long night.

actually sir I dont drink coffee, never found a taste for it. "Computer, Coffee, black, and Tea, Earl Grey warm." I find that tea is a much more focusing drink. I will look over Dir. 6 as i wait for "Mr. Smith."

I arrived outside of interrogation room 51, still in my battle gear, I had made the stop on the way back to the Centurion. After a quick knock on the door I let myself in, the ensign was calmly waiting at a small table that was in the room (about all that was in it besides myself and the ensign). Ensign Mercer rose to attention and saluted, I returned it as I said "Ensign Mercer I am Mr. Smith, I am not prone to long introductions or wordy speaches, in a nutshell, I am in charge of the 7th fleet Marine division and commander of the Centurion". "I apologize for the 'drama" but some within the fleet to include myself have twisted senses of humor. In all honesty I have but one question for you..........do you have what it takes to join the 7th MD"?
"Oh and I don't much care for coffee either, so I'll pass on the drink".
"I'll need you to make a decision quickly, and I also need to be going". Should you choose what I believe you will, find your way to the Centurion and report to Captain Anderson on the bridge he is currently the OOD".
I said good evening as I turned and let myself out.

After thinking in darkness for quite awhile I finally made up my mind, grabbed my duffle, and headed out the door with one question in mind... "Now which lift is closest to dock 34 and the Centurion"

I arrive at the Centurion and await a summons from Captain Anderson in 10 Forward while drinking a glass of hot chocolate

with MOS in hand i leave ten forward and take a the nearest turbo lift to the bridge i step off on the bridge and see Captain Anderson help a secruity officer with roster detail "Sir, Ensign Mercer reporting for duty as ordered."
