After watching the Ship Tactics videos, especially vid.2, it made me think about the in-game role that the 7thMD should probably focus on.
In Vid. 2, the Dev specifically spoke about shuttles approaching enemy ships and transporting boarding parties onto those targets to disable crucial ship systems.
It is quite possible that this could be the main role that the 7th MD plays. We will need to focus more on the "away team" skills, then the ship combat skills.
I'm assuming that the game will make us choose a specialty area. If this is the case, then Marines should focus or specialize in away team operations.
