[This is an edit, as my original post was rather misleading and sloppy]

The NWS Dept at the F7-NWC is much more focused on leadership, strategic decision making, strategy development, policy, process and logistical concerns than on tactics. There is of course some overlap on both sides, however.

As I just recently shared with Commandant Hanson of SATC, I believe the development of a consistently successful strategy should be a formal process and individuals could benefit from a focus on Strategic Decision Making. In other words, how we *decide* to blow up a bridge with a grenade is as important as the knowledge/skill necessary to pull the pin and aim the throw. We also must not forget the ramifications to the Fleet of blowing up said bridge, whether positive or negative.
