I appreciate the faith you have shown in me by appointing me as your XO, and very much look forward to working with the 4 of you upon my return.

As you may or may not already know, I am in the military and am in PCS mode. I was actually about to unplug this computer when I saw this post, and a couple of PMs from Commander Anders.

My computer is being picked up tomorrow morning, and I am now finishing up on getting all of my personal items packed. I have been told that the estimated time of arrival is in the April/May timeline, and you can rest assured once they get to Guam I will be in this game full throttle, intent on catching up with all of you.

Good luck to all of you, and I'll see you in a few months.

-Valinar

What's up guys? I'm able to get on from time to time at my folks' house on leave here. Before anyone asks, this computer can't even do Ventrilo, much less STO.

Seeing as staring at my collector's edition case is leaving me anxious to finally play, what's your first impressions now that it's been released for a while? Give me details!

Take care,
Valinar

It's sure good to hear from ya!

Well thus far I believe the game gets more stable every week. We don't have the lag and queue problems (from what I have expreienced). We had a fleet action last weekend. I wasn't able to attend but from what I read it was pretty damn awesome. Gameplay is fun whether you go solo or group up. I have mostly been solo and don't have any problems with the missions.

Bottom line it's going pretty damn well. Lots of fun! Can't wait to see you in-game!

Everything's going very well on the PCS, after a shaky start. I had an emergency leave call the weekend before I left, and they PCSed me early(Yes, for those of you who did know that situation, it was my grandmother, and she did pass away. The fortunate thing for me is they did get me home in time to see her one last time, which I am very grateful for.).

Aside from that exciting way to kick off my COT leave, I'm sitting pretty in Illinois right now, catching up on the Bulls and Blackhawks(Watching them live AND on HD is just so....awesome!), and still trying to twink this computer into being able to play STO(I'm preparing to call this Operation EpicFail, however.).

Ensign Miyamoto_83 (Fiërabras) is caught up in work right now...so if you start looking at inactivity could you keep that in consideration. He's doing a lot of big projects around island, and hasn't had more than a day or two at home. He's still around, but can't even get to the net by and large.
