Her new Commanding Officer, FiGiN, was recently promoted to CMDR and assumed command of STORMES-C the same day.
The day's events were not without controversy, however. Sources from within Starfleet say that CMDR FiGiN may be under investigation for incidents surrounding a recent operation where 13 crewmembers of his previous ship died.
Conspicuously absent from CMDR FiGiN's promotion ceremony were any of the top brass from the Seventh Fleet, including long time friend Admiral Angus T. Turner. At press, the Seventh Fleet could not be reached for comment.
