A Special Task Force, under the command of Rear Admiral Lang, achieved a huge victory over Borg Forces in the Gamma secter today. This mission was code named "The Cure" by Starfleet Command. Total mission time was thirteen hours and ten minutes.
Ships that took part in the assult were, the USS New Jersey under the command of Rear Admiral Steven Lang, USS Looking Glass under the command of Colonel Christian M. Hanson (7th MD), USS Comanche under the command of Captain Myles Keough, and the USS Marine under the command of 2nd Lt. Augurson (7th MD).
A special note, this Special Task Force has completed both "Infected" and "The Cure". I'd like to thank the officers and crew that participated in the assult!

Congratulations all...I KNOW how difficult those missions are having repeatedly failed The Cure myself...hopefully I can get it done this weekend with some help...

I'll be there mate! With the new patch comes the use of "Fleet Calendar" which will allow us to set up dates and times for events, you can RSVP via the Fleet Calendar, and I believe you will get a message in game, remind you of the event!
Officers from the 81st will be on hand all weekend to assist fleet members with these missions.

I want to thank every Fleet member who stepped in to assist with this special task force. We had excellent teams on each of the nights we worked to complete The Cure.
Thank you to all who participated!
Oh, and sorry for those couple of plasma grenades I accidentally threw at Mr. Kelly and Mr. Hanson.
