Subj: TASK FORCE 80 MISSION STATEMENT

1. Commander's Intent. To provide a Task Force that is capable, in conjunction with other Task Forces, of providing for the defense and security, and overcoming any aggressive acts that imperil the peace and security of the 7th Fleet area of responsibility within the United Federation of Planets.

2. Mission Statement. Task Force 80’s mission is to fight and win for the 7th Fleet by providing prompt, sustained dominance across the full range of military operations and spectrum of conflict in support of combatant commanders.

We do this by:

-Providing protection for the 7th Fleet area of responsibility and its interest by securing its sector space, planets, and interests and jurisdictions.

-Providing support to civil authorities in order to provide the protection and support needed to sustain the United Federation of Planets interests and stability.

-Providing support during emergencies by assisting civil authorities in maintaining emergency preparedness throughout the 7th Fleet area of responsibility.

-Working in concert with all other Task Forces of the 7th Fleet.
