Announcement: STO Fleet 7 makes top 50%

I am please to report that after only a few short days the Fleet 7 Milkyway@Home team has made it into the top 50% of data producers.

To date our teams has produces 30.72 quadrillion floating-point operations for this project.

We invite everyone in the fleet to participate. All you need to do is go to the Milkyway@Home website and get the BOINC client. Once installed attached the Milkywar at Home Project and create your account, and then sign up for STO 7th Fleet to join the team.

What can be more Star Trek than helping to create a 3D map of the Milkyway?

If you like we have also just started an STO 7th Fleet team for SETI@Home. You can attach both projects to your BIONC client. Then just sign up for SETI and the TEAM like you did above.

Seeking out new life, new civilizatiuons and mapping the stars all with the down time of your PC.

For Milkyway@Home we are currently at rank of 1123 out of 2188 teams.

For SETI@Home under the new system we are 32867 out of 32900. Considering that we are splitting our team focus and just really started with SETI this is not bad...
