In a solo fight with the Klingons Capt. Kefer Hawk had to make the most toughest decision in his life he had to let his ship go with most of the systems down and the warp core about to go he ordered his crew to abandon ship and set the self destruct and made his way to the escape pods but what he did not know that the escape pods where damage and only a few worked.
After about 2 wks in the pods only 7 made it back out of 50 crew.
STARFLEET started to look into the incident and found that Capt. hawk was at no fault,himself and his crew fought the Klingons to the highest standards of Starfleet.
Starfleet then made a decision to give capt. Hawk a new ship the hull was started and should be in service soon.
