I'm happy that you have found the career you're looking for; I didn't know the CAF had any carriers?

Whose spelling will I have to pick on now?

Sorry to see you go, and congrates on getting your position with the CAF. Is that a Civilain position or as a soldier? I remember working with the Canadians on Field Duty in Europe a number of times. They were/are a good group to work with. (US Regular Army 1990-1994, served mostly in Germany)

Oh! I wasn't sure. In the US, non-military civilians can work for the Army and other branches of service without serving as member of that branch. In some cases they can be deployed and receive hazardous duty pay.

For example, I left the Army, in Germany, in 1994, but continued to work for the Army for 3 years as a civilian employee, until a Presidential Order changed the nature of oversees government employment.

Not trying to be nosey, just curious, but that's why I asked. Congrats either way!
