The triumphiant return of starship gambling

When a Cardassian Lock Box is opened, it will grant the character that opens it a random reward. These rewards range from a rare starship, to some great new items. The possible rewards are:

•A box with a Cardassian Galor class cruiser starship.

To open one of the Lock Boxes, a character will also need an item called a Master Key. Master Keys can be purchased in the C-Store for 100 CP, or in a 10-pack for 900 CP.

wow so if someone loots a gold box..... and doesnt have the cp to buy a key... they are screwed... GOOD JOB CRYPTIC!!... and the best part is you dont have to pay for the box!!! ... Just the key that opens it... :/

Of course the bloody things are dropping like mad...rather than give us standard high level loot...it looks like we get this crap to "Encourage" us to spend our c points...I got 3 of the stupid boxes in 1 mission...anyone else think Cryptic is trying a bit too hard to separate us from our cash?

Be prepared for massive ragespam on ESD or DS9 if you enter them..rather ridiculous.

and MAN did the dilithium exchange skyrocket. 250DL for 1 CP last i checked

I also heard that the ship is like [enter cruiser name here (i forgot)] only with weapons. So apparently it might be more of an assault cruiser, not sure if it's any better than any other cruiser though.

As I haven't gotten a "gold" box drop yet, I can't confirm, but I think those are Bind on Pickup. I can, however, give you a key to open it, and the ship "container," itself, is not BoP.

anyone see my msg go serverwide? the ship is very nice, Little less hull then a star cruiser, but turns faster. Plus the 4 beam weapons it comes with are Hybrid Phaser-Disruptor (just like spoonhead weapons should be) and level with you (purple quality)
