i spent most of my C-points buying keys to keep opening boxes, hopping to give away the second one. Ran out of C-Points, then realized how STUPID the new system to buy C-points is, i wont be buying any more.

You have to buy ZEN from Perfect World, then turn that into Cryptic Points. Conversion factor is 100 zen = 80 C-Points (10 bucks for 800 points, pretty sure it was 10$ for 1000 points before)

i could not find any other way. Every link, either in STO, or on the STO website transfered me to the ZEN purchase site

inside the cryptic store, on the website. Click Buy More and it access the URL:

http://billing.perfectworld.com/mywallet which requires ZEN

Go to Store -> Buy More Cryptic Points, it starts to load the STO purchase area, then transfers to:

http://billing.perfectworld.com/mywallet


Every link i can find ends up transfering to the ZEN area.

(Edit) apparently you can buy Virtual Cryptic Point Cards, but these are even more expensive then the ZEN -> C-Point conversion (by about 50 cents)

Wow, really?? So, on top of everything else... the stupid cardassian lock boxes and the winter packages, the constant stream of other assorted store items, and the neglect of any meaningful content - they are actually making c-points more expensive?

EDIT: I'm still able to get to the actual STO/Cryptic page to buy points, not sure whats up with that? Oh, and 1000 points is $12.50, not $10. Pretty sure it's always been that price.

Yea everything got more expensive after F2P hit. After all its there only income now, since only a few still sub like me. 47 more days to 400 vet and I'm going silver. I know for a fact buying in game c-points directly works, I bought the DS9 bundle the day it released.

when i try it In Game, it opens the Perfect World website via browser... wtf, why am i the only one this is happening to?
