Is anyone interested in beta testing The Secret World?

I have 1 Buddy Key i can give out that will allow 1 person full access to The Secret World. And not just the areas you can go in, in the Weekend Betas, but the whole shebang.

I will definately look into this game, perhaps 7 - 12 months after launch. This is in fact FUNCOM, and they don't have a good MMO record for game launches or months 1 - 6.

It is not really trollish to warn those that may not be familiar with Funcom's previous MMO experience.

Age of Conan had a terrible launch, laced with out right lies by its Project Manager, in order to sell the game on content it did not have. Even the boxes were shipped, advertising content that did not exist until nearly a year after launch.

"Buyer Beware", is all I'm saying. Or would you rather have fleet mates stumble into a game that may be dramatically flawed or significantly misrepresented?

I agree, AoC Launch was horrible. I beta tested that game, they never even tested Crafting until launch. So of course, it was broken.

They are doing a much better job with TSW. Some of the graphics are a bit... odd when it comes to character faces, but the Environments are AMAZING. i actually feel like im in a Zombie Infested New England town...

I agree... graphically speaking and using an innovative melee combat system were the two hallmarks for AOC.

As I wrote earlier, I will give the game a look, but perhaps not for a few months after launch. It has been an all too often occurance that new MMOs need an additional 3 - 6 months of development. I am not talking as an "expert", I'm just expressing my opinion and experience.

This is true. Considering this is a free beta weekend, I'll give the game a go at it.

Also, Pre Ordering the game also gives you Beta Access up until launch.
