My tac was going to stay Defiant Retrofit (stealthy alpha attacks <3) but the Akira is just one sexy ship so I'll be another Akira user on my tactical alt :P

It might be a bit Blocky yes, but it is also much smaller then the Thunder or Armitage. Since they all have the same turn rate, when the ship itself gets larger, i think it looks odd turning so fast. I like how compact this is, and reminds me somewhat of a Miranda Class. Albeit, a very high tech refit.

I'm like u, it's odd seeing even the Akira in its size turn so fast. That's what I thought when I seen your pics was bigger meaner Miranda. After all the Akira designer used Miranda and Bird of Prey influence in the design.

Yea, I've lost a bit of "deadly" edge switching to the Akira Ryo, but Im running my original Defiant build that I've used in the war games, just tweaked a lil for Boff slots.
