I know most of us have been running these since they came out and know what to do. But for those new to the fleet, present and future, and those who aint played the yet and dont want to go in blind with a pug this is a simple run down of what to do/expect.

Infected-

Space:
Really simple here. First off you want to take the cube in front of you head on, and then finish off the spheres. Next pay attention to where your team goes. So far every group I've ran with fleet/PuG it's normally left first.

First you want to take out the small Nanite generators. But don't take them out so fast. Everyone you take down spawns a Nanite probe or sphere from the gate. You have to destroy these before they get to close to the transformer or you fail the optional/cheat yourself outta xtra loot. Common strategy is to leave one/two guys destroying these things as soon as they come out of gate. Also once all generators are done, its easier to take down regular spheres before destroying transformer. When finished on one side, start the next

After that side is done a Tac cube spawns. Just fire on what the team does. Sometimes they target cube first, sometimes gate first at the back.

ELITE:After 1st cube and spheres go to the side your team does (usually left). Target the cube first and take it out. Then take ALL 4 generators down to 10% range. When they are, pop ALL AT ONCE, then target the transformer with all you get. If you do it right, it should blow before the nanites get to it.....rinse, repeat.

Ground:
This stays the same as before. Kill the borg, work together. The optional is pretty hard. You got to save 10 fed buddies from bein assimilated. And they are usually in back of the next huge group with 2-3 borg on them and you have 10-15 secs to stop them. I've never been able to do it, so dont rely on a PuG to get this.

For the first boss there is no more luring him into the hall. Go in the room as group or a forcefield will cut you out of the fight. Don't waste all buffs right away. After he takes so much damage he talks stopping action. As soon as action starts borg spawn in from the door you entered. Best strategy is to beam down all teams/turrets you have.

The queen is more difficult then before mainly because it seems the borg spawn quicker. Same thing as before, clear room as you go starting from the bottom right corner as you entered. Leave 2 in the middle to help clear path, preferably an engineer with turret/sci medic. Nice bridges now, so use them, don't jump. When she comes out, spread out like always. If she hits you with blue reticle, stop firing at her till its gone.

ELITE:When you get to the final room, the best way to do it is to stay below the ramp, take out the left side at entrance first, then target the left. After they are clear bump up and take out the middle. Once down with that, jumpers start on the right and work around. Now with this its best for the team to kinda hug the far side for when the entrance side corners start poppin back in. Just look for places to put somethin in between you and your buddy.

Optional Update: Basically there is an imaginary line into the rooms, once you cross they start assimilating your buddies. HOLD outside the rooms (at least 10-15m from the doorway) and draw the crowds to you, once you have it clear for the most part, flood the room. You can drop teams and clones to help clear. Its ok if they go in the room, they don't trigger it.

Cure-

Space:
Ok normally the group starts to the right one this one. Simple enough start destroying the bottom probes working your way up to destroying the cube. Watch out for Raptors spawning, they will eat you up during this if your not careful. Rinse and repeat

ALSO for optional common strategy is to leave one guy at Kang protecting her. She takes to much damage, you fail. Not hard to do on normal. All cubes will spawn BoP/Raptors ever so often to send out to here, 2 to a par. Last cube will send out Negh'vars but just stick with group and U'll be fine.

Boss is easy, just throw what you got at her.

ELITE
: For Elite you want to pop all Cubes at the last. Have teams working on all cubes. EVERYONE needs to help with kang. Once you get it to just cubes, pop one at a time. Clear spam, then clear again. If you pop to fast, you'll have to many waves going after Kang, and those Negh'var's will be enough to get it quick.

Ground:
Same strategy for this and ELITE. Pick someone to stay at 1, a person at 2, a floater between 1 & 2, and a runner with someone helpin around 2-3 at gates. Basically its that simple, it just takes work. Be sure to use your melee to knock them off. Optional is tight to get if your not mowing through the baddies. For Armek, SHOTGUNS. Everyone get around him, buff up and blast his face in, be sure to have your mouse or button ready for a hypo if he pops you back.
KA-

Space:
Not so different here either. First attack the Tac cube straight ahead. Think of this as a "x2" infected. Same strategy as with it. Watch which side people go to. On this one though you watch the probes as before and stop them from getting to vortex. They spawn from both sides, so one guy will protect one side. If he needs help though, boost those engines and go help out. You can even have 2 on one side, 3 on the other. If 1 gets through, u fail optional. Expect beatings from the gates. Boss is simple on this one, just throw rounds down range at her.

Ground:
Well, with the new toughness of queen on Infected, this by far is the easiest ground part now. Even on Elite its not that bad, you just die a lot. Just watch out for elites on these, they are everywhere. One right off the get go, and a couple throughout. Same strategy as before just blast your way to the room with nodes.

Once to the node room you want to stick an engineer w/ turrets or a Sci Med in the control room since they will be alone. If not, a Tac can handle it with no problem. CLEAR ALL 6 NODES first. Once you start, go from bottom to top. You want to talk on this one. Buff up before your buddy drops the shield. Get up next to it so you dont target drones spawnin in. Throw what you got and let lose to destroy it before shield comes back up. You dont have long, I'm thinking 7 secs. If not, dont worry try again. If you want to get optional then after you pop a node IGNORE the new wave that comes in, just keep trucking.

Once down with the top one, no more room full of spawning borg. If someone needs the Borg Boff, just walk up into IMR and die. DONT activate the thing outside till your buddies who need it die inside or they dont get it. Optional is to get past 6 nodes and destroy the 2 IMR's in 15 mins. Easy with fleet, not with PuG.

For the boss no forcefield, so you can lure stuff out if you want. Or do what some of us do since the fleet is Tac heavy.......go in room, shoot at everything and drop escorts/turrets with your tacs doing a refresh to drop more teams. If you die, try to get help, otherwise you respawn on the other side of galaxy.

That's it and good luck on getting chips. Remember you have to get MkXI MACO or honor guard to get costume unlocks. Omega you can with MkX but its a VERY limited costume unlock. For info on what Tech drops fall on what maps, talk to Commander Roxy in the Task Force Room and click on "Borg Tech?" and she tells you where they drop. If you plan on running all ground maps, SAVE data chips till you have enough for full set in case you get a drop. The order I went if you can't wait is Rifle, Shield, (soon) Armor. Armor you get from KA, Shield from Infected. Logic.

Another tactic that seems to work pretty well for cure space (if you have enough DPS) is to station ships at each cube and take down the klink's as they spawn, and the ships knocking out nanite's leap frogs from cube to cube. (learned this one from Mr. G)

I can't remember if I posted it above somewhere or not, but I know I've had a chance to tell a few people.

When fighting the Tac Cubes, stay above it, especially if in an escort. Just keep your nose on the top and fly circles. The uber one shot "f*** you" torpedo the cube fires can't lock onto you if your on top of or above the thing, it's firing arc is on the sides. wink
