one more typical day at DS9. i can tell you this I'm sick of guard duty let alone guard duty in my armour it gets hot and boring and long really fast, the only call I've had in the last week is a bar fight at quarks. I've put in for a transfer but i suspect they'll keep me here to punish me a bit more. I guess i deserve the shit job I did after all miss-file the report and the EPS conduit did blow because of it, oh well...

Typical day on DS9 still waiting on news of the transfer, something must have gotten lost. on a different note the Department of Temporal Investigations requested me personally to deliver a message and a parcel to the DS9 sickbay the message was for a Terran Star Colonel Vaulkner if I'm remembering correctly, and the parcel was for an Admiral Ariel Cash. Captain Skye died in the sick bay it looked as thou she went through hell before her end. This explains why my transfer was held up...

This will be my last entry as Commander Samantha Runaz, I've turned in my resignation to Starfleet Command. I'll explain what's happened so you, who ever you are, can understand. It started the day I met the Terran, Scar Colonel Vaulkner. that day right as i was finishing up my duty shift he hacked an Encrypted PADD for me from Captain Skye, the captain who died earlier that week. contained within this PADD was a personal log entry of hers, it stated that we were Sisters and she's been keeping me on DS9 until I'm ready to know the truth./the truth about what I asked myself/ well i found out in a holographic message attached to her and my own dog-tags, they combined to make a mini holoprojector. It had a message for me, details I'll not get into but it explained my history past what i can remember.

Starfleet came back with a compromise on my resignation, i have no doubt this was my sisters work. Starfleet Intelligence wants me to keep track of the 7TH's progress on the various fronts they work, the 7TH has a lot of duties and a lot of pressure. Starfleet Intelligence placed me into the 7th as a Captain ranked engineer in the Technical Support wing of Engineering on Starbase 643. I was given a Defiant Class Fleet Tactical Escort the U.S.S. Jennifer she is to remain cloaked just inside of transporter range of the Starbase.

A lot has happened.... where do i begin... I guess i'll tell you how Skye died. then i'll tell you how i know what i know.
Skye left some ten months ago on a deep space mission when an Omega Particle signature was spotted on a deep space sensor array. Starfleet's standing order on the Omega Particle "destroy it with no regards to the current, the Omega Protocol overrides current orders and defines that the Omega Partical must be destroyed before normal duties are resumed, and that's just what Captain Skye did she left to destroy the particle and she came back barely alive after doing just that, tho she cam back with news that a group of Iconians were using the Omega Particle to build a weapon. Skye informed Starfleet command and was sent back to finish the job. Captain Skye was sent out again to destroy the facility and make sure this group of Iconians could not build more particles or weapons. A task force was created and a fleet of 23 ships from the federation, and the Klingon empire was sent to accomplish the mission. 10 months since she first left she came back again. Her Yellowstone class runabout was found adrift with 4 passengers captains of different ships in the task force, only 1 was alive the others had apparently shot themselves when the life support system failed leaving Captain Skye to limp back to federation space. the small ship was found drifting by Star Colonel Leon Vaulkner. This man was on a routine patrol as ordered by his First Prince, leader of the Terran empire here in this universe but splintered from the Mirror universe. Captain Skye was brought to Deep Space 9, the nearest friendly port to the Star Colonel and that is where she died, with her wife and friends by her side.

a little while back my Borg implants became active again after have been dormant for some time. After this event it was necessary to undergo surgery to correct the fault, however the outcome wasn't what i was hoping, i lost the use of my normal vision to the Borg implants that Z'zet, one of the leading Borg specialists, had to install i still see mostly like a human but with added data that scrolls by each position or item i focus on. Aside from the ocular implants Z'zet was able to create a hand device construct, to contain the cybernetics extruding from my left hand, similar to that of Seven of Nine. Its taken a lot of time to get used to. but the cons are out-weighed. However... getting to recovery was a small pain in the ass. i won't get into details
