re: Milhouse Van Houten

0
Milhouse Van Houten was born january 7, 2343 (66). He was born to two Vulcan's of the high counsel who where scientists as well. Hoping to follow in his parents footsteps as a scientist he progressed at the top of his class, and acted as a junior scientist assisting with minor studies, but felt like something was missing. In the year 2366, the chance to take part in the Vulcan culture exchange came up, and he joined the USS. Cochrane, a oberth class science ship.

Enjoying the challenges that he was being given, he felt he might join star fleet and go to the academy. He had the chance to talk to Cadet Wesley Crusher while he was aboard, while he was being transported to the USS Enterprise. Wesley had a huge role in his final decision to join star fleet. Six months later, and several letters of recommendation, he was accepted into the academy. While in the academy he was top of his class, progressing through most of his classes with ease. His senior year at the academy, he set for the Kobayashi Maru and scored the highest in the academies history, even surpassing James T. Kirks previous record. He graduated from the academy in 2373.

Ensign milhouse recieved his first assignment aboard the USS. Nova, the first of its class, which he was assigned to operations officer. He helped with day to day operations on the ship, as well as lead a lot of the scientific studies performed on the ship with his background in science. He progressed through to the rank of LT. Commander, and was apart of the senior bridge staff. Intreested now in command, he focused his career on getting his first command. In the year 2403 he was promoted to the rank of Commander, and was reassigned to the USS Rhode Island. He was under the command of Captain Harry Kim, and was in the role of first officer. he was at his happiest, as they where assigned a 4 year deep space mission, where he was able to still perform his scientific studies, and also fulfill his command dreams, but still wanted his own command.

Finally he received his first commission as a star fleet captain in the year 2409. He was assigned to the USS. trident, a sovereign class star ship. Six months into his command, he was assigned to the 7th fleet. He has progressed very well in his command, and is still learning a lot. He has been helping the Bajorans and the Cardassians. His ship received some major damage, and had to report back to earth space dock for major repairs and refits.

In the meantime, he has been reassigned to a new star ship, fresh out of utopia planitia. it is a Prometheus class star-ship, which is a little different then what he is use to, as he has been mainly assigned to "science" vessels, but, he will still be doing "scientific studies". The ships name is based on greek mythology, based off its original classes name "Prometheus", the ship was named Athena.

In greek mythology, Athena, helped Prometheus create man. She watched him form man from balls of clay, and she would "breath" life into those clay figures. so such a name is fitting to the ship, as it will be breathing life into a new weapons system setup, and studying the performance and effects it has.

He is currently doing space trials, testing out all the new subsystem, and running a lot of tactical simulations. Fleet Captain Ganos Lal and Captain S. Runaz has been a great help, and has even ran several war game trails with the crew.

Captain Milhouse is expecting to report back out to the Beta Ursae Sector block, and further assist the Bajorans and the Cardassians. He is also expecting to pick up a new tactical officer from DS9 to help train some of his officers.

********more will soon come in captains logs*********
