I am excited to be assigned to command the recently refit USS Hammond! While I will miss the USS Andromeda, I have been fortunate to be able to transfer most of my former crew with me. We have orders to proceed to the neutral zone bordering the remnants of the Romulan Star Empire. We will be patroling the local systems in order to maintain stability and order.

Shortly upon arriving for our patrol of the Pi Canis sector, I received an encrypted message from Fleet Command. The following is submitted for this log record:

//SUBJ: MISSION AUTHORIZATION/CAPTURE STARFLEET TRAITOR

1. Starfleet is facing a critical situation, Commander. Your assistance is required to resolve it successfully.

2. T'Par is a Starfleet officer assigned to be an intelligence analyst for the Federation Council. She knows almost all there is to know about Starfleet's plans to defend the core worlds of the Federation.

3. Starfleet Intelligence has reason to believe T'Par wants to sell that intel to the Romulans.

4. In fact, we know that T'Par's hid the fact that her father was Romulan when she applied to Starfleet. What else has she concealed?

5. T'Par is quite resourceful, and she has contacts in the Orion Syndicate. There is a 62.78 percent chance that she will use those contacts to broker a deal with the Romulans in the Agrama system.

6. Go to the Agrama system, find T'Par and bring her back. Do now allow her to escape.

Needless to say, we set course immediately for Agrama. While it certainly seems a little strange that a half Romulan could have infiltrated Starfleet Intelligence, we will apprehend her regardless as is our duty.

Upon reaching the system we began our search. We discovered that there were numerous smuggling depots hidden within this system. The depots were moderately defended by Orionstarships and light defense platforms. While this might have beenan issue for a normal light patrol frigate, they were no match for a recently refitted Akira heavy escort.



We proceeded to scan cargo depots for any traces of Federation equipment. It was very unlikely that she would have been able to dispose of every trace by now. We got a suspicious reading at the fourth depot. I immediately ordered my science officer to begin scanning all of the freighter traffic at this specific depot.

Luck had appeared to be with us. It was a short time before we discovered T'Par's combadge signal and a half Vulcan/half Romulan lifesign was detected inside of a light freighter. All of our attempts to hail the freighter were ignored so i ordered tactical to open fire.

Just before the light freighter was destroyed we detected a transporter signal beam to the surface of the planet.

I proceeded with my away team to the surface. After fighting our way through stiff Orion resistance it we discovered that time was running out. We ran into Romulan resistance just prior to locating T'Par. She was at the bottom of a large hill arguing with a Romulan Subcommander. We quickly engaged the enemy and overwhelmed them. We captured T'Par and beamed back aboard the Hammond.



Shortly after beaming aboard we were ambushed by an older D'deridex warbird. My crew performed admirably as we made short work of the Romulan ambush.

Before I had a chance to question our prisoner, we recieved a priority one message from an Starfleet Hqs. A man named Franklin Drake informed us that T'Par was on an undercover assignment to infiltrate the Romulan High Command. Our entire mission was all just a ruse in order to sell her as authentic.

Needless to say I am FURIOUS at the way my crew has been manipulated by this self serving pink skin. I fullt intend to launch a formal complaint with both Admiral's Fortin and Quinn.
