Star Trek: Excelsior - http://www.starshipexcelsior.com/episodes
About eight years ago, Starfleet discovered a wormhole hidden in orbit above Union III. The Gateway, which had been constructed in ancient times by the extinct Iconians, led to the heart of the Delta Quadrant--remote territory even by galactic standards. Command immediately recognized the strategic and moral importance of exploring this far-flung new frontier, so it created a new task force and assigned it to the region. Their mission was the usual one: explore strange new worlds, boldly go, and come back in one piece. Then do it again. The U.S.S. Excelsior, fourth starship to bear the name, is the standard-bearer of that task force. These are her stories.

Star Trek: The Section 31 Files - http://www.darkerprojects.com/section31.php
Space is dark. Let's face it. The universe of shiny, well-groomed Starfleet officers and the pristine starships of the United Federation of Planets where the Prime Directive rules and hopes for galactic unity of all species is an ongoing quest is reinterpreted in our vision of the reality of the Star Trek Universe. It's not all "let's be friends with our alien brethren". Here the Federation has a dark underbelly and the daring crew of the Nosferatu boldly goes where Starfleet fears to tread. These are desperate times. We are the desperate measure.
Star Trek: Eras - http://www.twerponline.net/eras
Eras is a multi-generational audio series, spanning through the entire history of Star Trek. Told from the perspective of Admiral Evori, an El-Aurian who has been a part of Starfleet since the beginning, each story can range from his "present" place in time following the conflict with the Romulans (as depicted in Star Trek: Nemesis) to his experiences with humans during their explorations using Warp-5 engines (the time period established in the Star Trek: Enterprise series).
When stationed aboard the "Okie Boat" in the late 70's in Yokosuka, Japan, we would watch "Little House on the Prairie" on ship's TV, and this on Japanese TV.
