MEETING RMKS/

1. September Fleet events (all start times are 2100EST except as noted):

A. EFAN (Elite Fleet Action Night) (13-14 September)
B. 7th Fleet Recognition Ceremony (21 September)
C. 3rd QTR Fleet Wargames/Klingon MMA/Bat'leth Tournament (27-28 September)

2. Quarterly wargame format will change to the following:

A. There will be 2 completely separate wargames during the weekend with 2 separate presentations of medals – one Friday and one Saturday.
B. Each night will be exclusive to all ground or all space. For instance, once teams are selected on Friday night, the senior ranking officer will flip a coin to decide on a space night or ground night. Additionally, if the coin toss decides space Friday night, then Saturday night will be ground.

3. Lieutenant John Davis will be assuming the role as Fleet Operations Officer and is hereby frocked to the rank of Fleet Captain.

4. If you change your STO @handle or your website login name, you must email that new information to the Chief of Staff or else you risk being kicked from the fleet in game.

5. Fleet members that have questions about ship loadouts, tactical scenarios and gameplay should send FCAPT Ganoslal an in-game email or a website email with their specific question(s). However, Ventrilo communication is always the preferred method.

6. Next Command Staff Meeting: Thursday, September 26, 2100 EST, location TBD.

Last night during the staff meeting, we had a discussion about team dynamics for the wargames. Specifically, balancing teams that were 5v4. We have had instances in the past where teams were forced to play 5v4 due to not enough people to make four teams of 5 players each. I have no issues with a 4 man team picking up an additional player after play has started to make the teams an even 5v5, however, that augmentee will not be eligible for the award should his or her team win.

Basically, to be eligible for the award(s):

1. You must be present for the initial team selection. Team selection will start at 2100hrs EST SHARPeach night at Starbase Solrac Yatug.

2. You must have won the semi-final round in order to be eligible for the award, should your team win the final. This prevents people showing up late, getting asked to augment a 4 man team, winning the final round but not winning the entire bracket as you should. This also allows 4 man teams to ask for a player from a loosing semi-round team, but said augmentee is NOT eligible for the award should the team win. These would not affect the other players in the team that did win the semi round.

haha Yay! I'm the MJ of STO Thx for the invite to ground night bossy man. Really like the rule layout for that. I always thought it was rather crummy that people have received awards for not being there the full team or a team getting an advantage of picking up a heavier hitter outside of the "draft". Nice job.

I always thought it was crummy that you were even allowed to have other people on your team at all
