I really like the way it looks. Tomorrow they're supposed to release the specs on the ship and it console. If it's set upright, this will likely be my next purchase.

It's like all ships really in Star Trek. Every one of them look good from certain angles and other angles just look yucky. Akira is ugly from side and bottom, Oddessy is ugly from top and rear, Sovereign has ugly yellow deflector, Galaxy is ugly from bottom front view, so on and so on......

I'll be getting the fleet version as soon as it's made available. I love the layout of the bridge officer stations on the excelsior, but I'm not a fan of flying around in a very old ship that should in reality be obsolete at this point in time. This looks to be close enough to that layout so that I can have both a look I like and the setup I want. I'm very excited about this ship.

The Bridge Officer layout will essential just be like the Regent, at least if people are smart about that universal.

The Fleet version look is more appealing with the Intrepid style pylons.

Well, with the layout it's probably going to turn into a Tech cannon ship so will probably make it the most powerful ship in game.

Yep, she is going to be added to the collection, It's a gunboat, it's as pretty as an A-10, and I can use my Stealth console from my Dreadnought on it. I also like the armament slots. 5 fore and 3 aft, yes please.

Man, I really want to like this ship.  I just can't stomach it's looks.  I like my ships streamlined and elegant.  Not bulky and thrown together looking.  I just have never really liked any Cryptic designs minus the Sao Paulo, Regent, and Oddy even though they got some things I ain't fond of.

I think it's dead sexy, but as noted, you and I have different tastes.  I think the Chimera is gorgeous, you like the Akira, we're from two completely different worlds.

yep, to each his own.  I actually like the Chimera look now, it's grown on me.  Not a fan of the whole transformer thing still.  I'm glad y'all like it though, it should be a great ship.  I know I love my KDF cruiser with cannons.
