re: Light Mass Weapon part III
The light mass weapon when created has a life span built into it, it may last anywhere from a day to a month (earth time), it is believed that the proportions of what makes up the LMS weapon is what determines how long it will last. It is held in stasis by a null field which must be destroyed by the deploying vessel unfortunatly this takes time, which leaves the deploying vessel vulnerable for a short period of time, which is plenty long enough if one is under fire. This fact makes the weapon a poor candidate for ship to ship combat. The weapon could destroy a city or a world. In application, upon destruction of the null field containing it, the weapon draws everything into itsself like a black hole. It could effectively suck in a whole city or set free to compleatly suck in a worlds entire atmosphere, it would become so heavy it would sink to the planets core still drawing everything into itsself, the continuing drawing in of matter would eventually shake the planet apart destroying it. Hence the planet killer. Since it is probably not to good to release a bunch of black holes in the galaxy, (as there are enough to avoid as it is) it is a very good thing that they just die off in due time.
I apologize for the brevity of this dispatch but I am in a marked hurry to finish outfitting the Centurion and must make all haste for the Gayda quadrent.

re: Tech Spec
Theory of the Null Stasis Field. This would be the timing device.
