re: studying the U.S.S. RoMartia, the 7thfleets most advance ship
Commander Bilarius Atlanteus Kaiser’s Log star date 162409
Since arriving at AZ alpha with the rest of the 7th Fleet, we have taken out a Klingon B’rel class vessel while cloaked I might add, used a new drive called wormhole drive, and the ship has transformed from the Enterprise G specifications to a variant of 24th and 26th century technology, I am calling it the RoMartian class I hope the name sticks. This will be the last form the vessel takes a different shape, I am having the Borg regeneration device deactivated and having it sent to SATC-7 where my fellow colleague and former ship mate Commander William Anders will study it and try to reverse engineer it. With the vessel no longer capable of changing its size and shape, we can now begin to study it in more detail and unlock the secrets that it has. Having only a 3 man crew cataloging has gone very slow, we haven’t nearly placed a dent in just the objects the mirror universe had collected not to mention the inherent upgrades this advance ship has to offer. Still awaiting word from the Admiral, so until then I assume the role as the ships commander, and will continue to study the ship and help out the fleet when needed. On a personal note sitting in the center chair is very exciting, the responsibility knowing every decision affects the ship and her crew is very heavy and almost a rush, but it is something no one should be looking forward to getting, you really have to humble yourself, it is not all just about you, but about the well being of the ship and her crew. End log

Thanks cadets, if you want to find out how we aquired this vessel check out chronometric particles thread, i think it can be found in the task force area of the forum.

I have been studying the USS RoMartia over the course of a few weeks. So far I have catalogued nearly 30 different technologies not indigenous to the ship's timeline. I have assigned engineering crews to learn as much as possible.
I've spent a vast majority of my time studying the console that interfaces with the nav computer. It allows the user to pick and choose the exact date and time he wants to visit. It is incredible that they were able to get their hand on this type of technology. I believe it is the very basis of how they were able to procure all the other technologies. How they even obtained this piece of equipment is beyond me. Did they have help from an outside source? Someone from the future? Why would anyone give such advanced hardware to a people so primitive, in comparison? What would they have to gain? These are all questions I aim to answer.
We'll see what time brings.

Much of the advaned tech has been removed form the ship and is being analyzed by the Corps of Engineers and the Science Academy. In time we will have answers to what their uses are.
The past 6 days have been incredibly exciting. I find myself drawn to the device that allows the user to pick and choose his stardate. I have yet to come up with a better name or designation for it. My next objective is to requisition a Danube-class vessel and install the device. Assuming our technology is compatible with it, we may be able to use it to our advantage.
Only time will tell.

The message came from the brass way up in Starfleet, I was being assigned to some project called Romartia. It wasn't until I arrived at the spacedock that I understood Romartia was a ship.... and what a beauty. For the first time since my psyche eval my palms were sweating, I could hardly wait to get myself down into main engineering.
I arrived sometime in the early hours of the morning, there was not even a skeleton crew logged aboard, as I made my way down to engineering I noticed something a bit odd in the feel of the turbolift "I will have to look into that" knowing I was alone I let my betazed empathy open up, (I still can not imagine this being a social stigma), immediately the nuances of this incredible machine began to invade my being. The first thing I noticed was that this ship had enormous levels of nanite activity all around, and not your run of the mill lil buggers either , these were almost autonomic maybe even AI. For a moment it was almost as if the ship sensed me as much as I sensed her, but that just can't be.
Making my way over to the heart of this beast I could tell right away something was different...by all the betazoid princesses a challenge... I had to bring the engine online. Expecting the normal hour of prewarp core build up and ignition you could imagine my surprise when the care began to hum before I made it halfway to the dilithium matrix, hmmm reaching for the matrix chamber I got the feeling that it would be a bad idea. "ok sunshine lets have a schematic so I can see where to put my hands"...again I was nearly floored when a holographic engineering schematic appeared suspended before my eyes...."well arent you just full of surprises"...
Between the notes made by the captain and a general sense of how things were supposed to work, I decided to reclassify the warp core from wormhole drive ( come on who came up with that... must be a clueless officer) to a more precise one ** Dynamic Quantum Singularity ** this best describes the amalgamation of technologies that is taking place here. I have not even heard of this level of engineering skill outside of a Dysons' Sphere. The forces put on this ship during a warp jump must be astronomical. (( I will add a supplimental describing this later ))
After some 16 hours poking around down here I need to get some sleep before I bring my initial report to the captain. I hope he doesn't mind my not checking in with him before coming down here, but there wasn't even a duty officer,..." oh well better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission"
