RE: BLK and Allied Klingon Fleet Assault on Drozana (2 days ago).

Sirs,

Two days ago the combined Klingon Fleets of the Black Legion Knights, Lore and the House of Iron conducted a heavy, carrier assault on the 7th Fleet.

The Klingon Fleet's make-up was ten (10) Lieutenant Generals, with other captains and ships in reserve.



This first battle did not go well for our forces. Our valiant effort was not without some gaining of knowledge however. Tactics were modified for the second battle.

[Note: The USS LaeLaps, under my command, did not participate in the second battle. However this office has been told that a video feed of it does exist.]

The Third Battle:



As we noticed again, the Carrier Assault was incredibally effective. Our response to this tactic in the future will have to be well crafted and discussions will take place with the Command Staff.

Having made a successful assault, the combined Klingon Fleet made two attempts at boarding our facilities:



The second attempt was likewise unsuccessful:



Shortly after the fifth battle of the night, the Klingon Fleet and the "Lucky 7th" departed the battle zone and returned to normal operations.

Once again the 7th Fleet has demonstrated outstanding valor, versus a skilled and honorable foe.

In regards to the carrier battle, I recall there being talk about assigning one or two units to NPC control. This seems like a good task especially for those who aren't yet at a decent level to engage enemy (PC) units.

To that end, I'd suggest Science Vessels with AoE abilities (Tyken's Rift or Gravity Well, to name the most likely candidates). Other possible useful BOff skills for this are Tactical: Torpedo Spread, Cannon Scatter Shot and Beam Array Fire at Will. If used at the right time, the Engineering BOff skill Eject Warp Plasma would also kill a lot of those fighters quickly.

In Related News:

It has come to our attention that the 7th Fleet has become "known" due to our actions during the BLK War. Word has been spread that we fight well and with valor and as was posted already, we have recently received an invitation to speak with a Federation Alliance. Even several Klingon fleets have expressed praise for the "Lucky 7th" Fleet.
