Well Season 3 is out new thing all around! Memory Alpha has been completely revamped!

+No more mix and match samples! Each tier uses there own samples. So tier 2 gear requires the orange and yellow samples and so forth.

+No more purchasing items! Each item now requires the fabrication of a schematic instead of purchasing the base item from anyone of the Ferengi(see below)


+No need to worry about particles! They have apparently un-binded the trace particles so now they can be traded, which is a serious plus!

-Easy of leveling. The only minus here(for me anyway, but more a less a plus for everyone else) is that each time u fab a schem you get 10 points, and when you make whatever you make you get those points as well valuing from 10 to 50 points (50 being rare purple stuff) and you can quickly level off the low tier items with all of the light red samples for tier 1 and 2.

That's the quick overview gentleman for those of you who haven't been on tribble or read the Eng report. Have fun with Season 3!!!

Thanks for the info, sir. Glad to hear they unbound the trace particles; I really didn't want to level all my characters through the system...

neither did i too much hassle but in actuality its really easy to lvl up characters

Ya, I might try and level up Shack's crafting anyway. I have my science alt maxed out on it; but you never know what changes down the road might be brought into play. I had read somewhere that they were going to put Boff powers into the crafting system.
