Current Tribble Rewards

Just for my own sanity, I have compiled a list of all the different rewards one can gain for Tribble testing, and linked back to their source. If I am missing anything, or anything new comes up, feel free to add to this list.

As a bonus, within the three weeks following when the F2P build is live, we'll be giving out awards to your character on Holodeck based on what you accomplished on Tribble. If you get a Federation character from start to level 11, we'll give you a free 8 hour XP boost item. If you get to level 31, we'll give you a reasonably large chunk of dilithium (exactly how much depends a bit on how the economy tunes up in testing, but this will be a meaningful award). And if you get a character to level 51, we'll give you a bonus ship slot and a unique title that only the most elite Tribblers will have. This award only applies to Federation characters that freshly started on Tribble. It does not apply to characters that transfer in once we open up character transfer.

As a bonus, playing on Tribble can earn your character on Holodeck some free random Duty Officers, awarded within the three weeks after free-to-play goes live on Holodeck. Complete any Tier 1 Duty Officer commendation category accolade to receive an unique blue-quality duty officer. Complete any Tier 2 Duty Officer commendation category accolade to receive an unique purple-quality duty officer. Complete any Tier 3 Duty Officer commendation category accolade to receive a unique purple-quality duty officer with an active roster ability not attainable anywhere else in the game.

At this time, I want to announce that we'll be giving out the traditional unique Tribble award for playing on Tribble. Anyone that gets a Federation character to at least level 6, or levels up a character that they transfer over (once character transfer is active at a later date), will be awarded a unique Tribble item for their character on Holodeck.

If you get a Klingon Defense Force character from start (at level 17) to level 31, we'll give you a reasonably large chunk of dilithium (exactly how much depends a bit on how the economy tunes up in testing, but this will be a meaningful award.) If you get a character to level 51, we'll give you a bonus ship slot and a unique title that is different from the Federation's award title. This award applies only to KDF characters that start fresh on Tribble. It does not apply to characters that transfer onto Tribble from Holodeck once we activate character transfer. These awards are in addition to any awards granted for leveling a Federation character.

Rehpic-Cryptic Studios Team: No, we track newly created and transferred characters separately. As long as you don't delete the character you started from scratch and leveled up on Tribble, it will be eligible for rewards.

So how worthwhile is it to grind up a complete new character on Tribble? I have nothing beyond the tutorial that isn't a transfer and am not really wanting to grind up a whole new toon just for the test server, unless the rewards would be worthwhile.

It's not even really a grind Squiddy...just do a few storyline mission ands run the DOFF system once it opens and you level fairly fast...I've barely completed the initial 2 blocks of story missions and have almost made it through Captain on 2 two toons, Fed and Klingon
