Well as the new TACOPS in charge of STF's thought I would post something. Most of you already know me, but for anyone new to the fleet browsing the forums.....

For STF's I don't plan on setting anything up till the new build hits holodeck. As we must know that has always been the main obstacle for doing them, they take at least 45 mins after the nodes were removed to at least 2 hours. Lucky for us, Cryptic finally listened (I know, right?) and has broke them up into space and ground. I'm sure space will be the quick favorite everyone wants to do.

I'm not going to ask who needs to run what due to the fact new gear=everyone wants it. Hopefully we might tackle those Elite lvls. Regardless of change. I have ran through each STF multiple times and one of the 5 in fleet to do it KDF side so I can provide assistants there also.

I mainly took this job because I love playing the game and felt having a role to play in the fleet would bring me on more. I know SWTOR will be taking time from people including me, but I'm sure we can bring life back to our good ole STO.

Also as Tactical Operations Officer I will provide aid to anyone looking to improve there Tac officers. In my opinion I feel that anything Tac should be my area of specialty, not just STF's. I don't have alts, and my main FED and KDF are Tacs, so you could say I'm dedicated to blowing stuff up. I'd like to think that I'm one of best (ive got numbers to back up claim ) Defiant pilots in the game and had a lot of PVP experience before the fleet. I'll be happy to share any advice there.

Once the revamped STF's hit Holodeck, count me in for any runs; and especially on Elite level runs.

If Tribble is any indication, getting the new gear sets is going to take multiple runs of all of these encounters on elite settings. It's not going to be like it is now in terms of rewards where you do the STF and you get your set item.

Yeah my alt (tac officer) just hit LA5 so I'm up for any when the build comes, just trying to get vice admiral before c-store only va ships hit!

I'll be down for STF runs as well. I suspect many in the fleet will be up for runs, in an effort to acquire all the new gear.
