Poll 1 of 2: Fleet starbase Focus

There are three areas a Fleet's starbase can be improved/upgraded: Military, Engineering and Science.

Fleet Admiral Fortin will be the one in control of which Fleet Projects we'll focus on, but he, Vice Admiral Van Wormer and myself want the fleet members' input. Please let your voice be heard and counted.

The poll will remain open for 60 days from this date.

If for no other reason that I feel we are a militarily-aligned fleet, both in and out of game, I vote "Military."

I answered anyway, but he's got a valid point here, we just don't have the solid info yet and we can probably only take the most basic first step at this point with the poll

Voted "Military" simply because with what info we were given it seems more advantageous imho.

By the look of the UI as well we can do a little bit of each but of course its subject to change ...they anounced we won't be able to name our starbase as well

I voted Military....cuz well that's my style. But honestly there is a lot of benefits to the other stuff as well that improves functions of the base.......

I say we do all 3 evenly. Once we finish one, start with the next branch, then next, repeat.

But I do think once we get details maybe we can figure out which path will benefit for what we want out of the base more.

Comm Array sounds strategically useful but just on the basis of what I expect from a Fleet hub in a state of war and looking only at it from a Lore standpoint I would guess Military. I'll still wait to vote until I understand more about the starbase feature.

I voted military since the Federation is "under siege" from all sides at the moment

Command Staff will do our best to keep everyone informed on changes as they come out. As for now, we only know there's going to be 3 seperate sections of the starbases. There is no indication as to what benefits there are, or what sections they might be tied to. As soon as someone finds out, I'm sure we'll pass that along.

I voted military for most of the same reasons as everyone else. It never hurts to have sharp pointy sticks 'n such.

I voted Military, but if there were an option for all 3 branches I'd have clicked that. I have no real preference, but if we did have to pick one above all others I'd agree that Military fits the 7th Fleet best. I would just do a +1 on the point that someone made earlier that it will benefit our base and the 7th Fleet to do projects all 3 branches.

Felt the need to emphasize this. The command Staff may have the final say, but we want to go with what the majority of our members want.
